The “QA-SURE Project Kick-off Meeting” recently wrapped up at WBU – Albania, marking a successful two-day event held on January 15-16. This meeting launched the “Improving University Quality Assurance Resilient Strategies Toward Excellence” (QA-SURE) project. Participating in the consortium are Universiteti Luarasi, Universiteti Polis, Universiteti “Isa Boletini” in Mitrovicë, IBCM – International Business College Mitrovica, South East European University (SEEU), Mednarodna fakulteta za družbene in poslovne študije (MFDPŠ), and the project’s leader, Western Balkans University.
A significant gathering at Western Balkans University enabled the presentation of the universities involved and opened discussions on the project’s forthcoming phases. The aim was to outline the role each university plays within the project and to deliberate on the critical next steps required for its successful fulfillment.
The objective of this collaborative initiative is to elevate quality assurance measures in academia by uniting various universities across different nations for a common cause. This collaboration, supported by co-funding from the European Union, underscores a shared commitment to fostering educational superiority and global cooperation. Through mutual learning and innovative endeavors, the project aspires to enhance academic standards, benefiting both the student body and academic staff by establishing exemplary practices and pioneering solutions.
